Restoration Ministries (RM) is an exciting and phenomenal outreach ministry to the poor and downcast in São Paulo, Brazil. RM began in 1991 with the focus of bringing hope to the street children in the slums. Since then, God has rapidly expanded this ministry bringing hope to people of all ages. Most are plagued by hunger, disease and poverty.  Many are scarred by the devastating affects of prostitution, drugs and domestic violence.  In 1998, they became Career Missionaries with WorldVenture in order to work together to reach more people with the Gospel message.

      RM brings hope by sharing the Gospel, strengthening families, educating, and providing nourishment and shelter for those at risk. This ministry builds trusting relationships, and restores hope in broken lives through sharing the love of the Savior, building friendships and offering encouragement.

    They are investing in leadership and discipleship training, and sending and receiving short-term mission groups. Children find a temporary escape at Camp California, a 100-acre oasis where they experience the gospel through music, drama, crafts and recreation. Many kids refer to this place as a piece of heaven.

     At one of the 5 Day Centers in São Paulo, RM provides activities that keep kids off the streets. They learn discipline and gain a sense of self-worth through Bible lessons, English, art, martial arts and dance classes.
